Accurate and consistent color performance is essential for professionals in graphic design, video editing, and other professional environments. With 100% sRGB color coverage capability, the VX2475Smhl-4K reproduces 100% sRGB rich color performance and captures images in their original and true colors.
The ViewSonic VX2475Smhl-4K utilizes an 8-bit scalar to display 16.7 million true colors on-screen. 8-bit color performance enables smoother gradients and more stable color transitions, ultimately delivering stunning visuals when compared to conventional displays.
Integrated with MHL, this monitor enables users to connect compatible high definition mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets, directly to the projector. This allows digital content from mobile devices to be viewed on a larger screen, while also simultaneously charging the batteries of the mobile device.
Future-proof HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2a video standards support 3840x2160 resolution at a quick 60Hz frame rate—guaranteeing jitter-free multimedia, smooth screen performance, and true Ultra HD picture clarity.
Rather than using Pulse Width Modulation that continuously turns the LED backlight on and off, ViewSonic flicker-free monitors use DC modulation backlights that maintain a steady stream of direct current power—nearly eliminating screen flickering at all brightness levels by providing a constant LED light source.
Prolonged exposure to certain levels of blue light can cause eye discomfort. ViewSonic displays feature a Blue Light Filter setting that allows users to adjust the amount of blue light emitted from the screen, enabling longer viewing times and increased eye comfort for work and multimedia applications. It offers 100 levels of blue light filtering to relax users' eyes and adapt to all your daily digital activities.
ViewSonic’s unique ViewMode feature offers "Game," "Movie," "Web," "Text," and "Mono" presets. These presets enhance gamma curve, color temperature, contrast, and brightness to deliver an optimized viewing experience for different screen applications.
LED backlighting not only enhances monitor performance, delivers an outstanding color range, and adjusts contrast ratios for remarkably detailed images, but it’s also eco-friendly, mercury-free, and uses less energy than conventional monitors.
ViewSonic’s proprietary Eco-mode energy-saving feature is built into all ViewSonic LED monitors. Eco-mode adjusts brightness and improves visibility, while reducing eye fatigue and prolonging the monitor's lamp life. With Eco-mode, the lifespan of the LED backlighting is also greatly increased.
This monitor features a 100 x 100mm VESA-mountable design that allows you to mount the monitor depending on your specific needs.

“The VX2475SMHL also offers excellent refresh rates and a solidly quick response time, so it’s clear that ViewSonic built this machine to be particularly 4K gamer-friendly but also a highly useful and affordable rig for professional graphics and photography uses.”
“The ViewSonic VX2475Smhl-4K ($469.99) is proof that you don't have to spend a fortune to view 4K content, nor do you need a big screen.”
“The VX2475Smhl-4K has sufficient color accuracy for both business and graphics applications and serves well as a gaming monitor. And at this price point it doesn't have much competition.”
“For the VX2475Smhl-4K quite honestly we’re torn. For the monitor itself it may be too advanced for Europe right now to take advantage of its full potential with the lack of viewable content. For gamers yes absolutely. 4K resolution is already here for games like GTA V where it enhances the immersive gaming experience of the open world. For movies, TV and console games you can’t reach higher than 1080p so it makes the added expense of 4K hard to justify as an early adopter. Perhaps the best way to decide if the VX2475Smhl-4K is right for you would be a simple question. If you need to buy a monitor now would you be happy to need to buy another in a year because it’s not 4K compatible? As consumers we like the idea of saving a few pounds and buying a perfectly fine 1080p monitor, but knowing that its expiration date is approaching fast isn’t something that sits well. The VX2475Smhl-4K is a solid monitor. It does have a few minor issues like Polo shaped buttons that hurt your fingers during setup sessions and a heavier weight than its 1080p friends but as a 4K display device it’s a solid contender that does its job without complaining. 9.9/10”
“As far as the build quality and design of the VX2475Smhl-4k go, Viewsonic have created a nice solid product. The stand is sturdy and there is a reasonable level of tilt available. The Controls are within easy reach and the gloss finish looks decent, though we prefer matt as it is less prone to fingerprints etc. It would be good if Viewsonic mounted the inputs so they could be accessed from the side as that is easier however as there are three, it is unlikely that we will have to change cables often. For the display, well that is a real highlight…with one caveat. Lets get that out of the way first. Basically, fitting 3840×2160 into a 23.6″ display means that out of the box you will likely have tiny text and icons etc. That is easily fixed in the operating system however some OS’s handle text/item scaling much better than others. Additionally there will be the odd occasion where changing scaling causes issues with compatibility. Try to play Starcraft 2 on this screen with “large” set in Windows 8.1 for our desktop items and the mouse pointer doesn’t work until we apply a work-around. (NOTE: This is not an issue with this screen specifically, just something to be aware of on the whole). That aside, the VX2475Smhl-4k produces nice bright, sharp images with excellent viewing angles. We noted accurate colours too with the various picture modes offering a varied experience which will mean there is likely a setting to suit you. The viewing experience was also flicker free and we had no issues with compatibility, whether we were using a desktop, laptop or phone to connect to the display. Rounding things off, ViewSonic offer a 3-year warranty on the VX2475Smhl-4k which is a nice bonus and wins the display our recommended award.”
“If you want an affordable 4K panel on your PC, then this is a good one, regardless of whether you can actually use that resolution or not. For photographers, the resolution and colour presentation is critical, but sadly ViewSonic for whatever reason doesn’t support AdobeRGB on this panel. That leaves the VX2475SMHL-4K as a display that gamers who want 4K on the cheap might like, and perhaps someone with limited space and access to 4K movie streams. As lovely a display as it is, 24 inches just doesn’t seem big enough for this resolution, unfortunately. Quality 8, Value 8, overall 7.”
“With VX2475SMHL-4K ViewSonic offers all that you need.”
