INTRODUCTION

The ViewSonic PG705WU is a high brightness projector that combines 4000 ANSI lumens and WUXGA resolution to project images full of depth and detail, even in brightly lit spaces. With the projector’s energy-saving SuperEco mode, PG705WU is able to reduce power consumption and extend the projector’s lamp life to up to 15,000 hours. A longer lamp life also lowers lamp replacement and maintenance costs, which is particularly useful for corporations and schools with frequent projector usage. Dual HDMI inputs allow user to quickly connect an array of devices, while the integrated USB power supply can be used to power connected devices. In addition, PG705WU’s integrated Crestron, AMX, PJ Link, and Extron compatible RS232 and LAN network solutions allow users to easily control and monitor projectors remotely for maximum efficiency.

This projector remote can be assigned 8 different control codes for effortless simultaneous projector selection, configuration, and operation during lessons and meetings. When the Power Saving setting on PG705WU is turned on and no signal input is detected, the projector will automatically switch into Eco Mode and SuperEco Mode.

  • Eco Mode: The projector will automatically switch from Normal to Eco Mode whenever it has been left idle for 5 minutes.
  • SuperEco Mode: When the projector has not received an input signal for 20 minutes, projected images are dimmed to 30%, extending the lamp’s lifespan to 15,000 hours on average.
