The ViewSonic CDE6500-L is a 65’’ (64.5’’ viewable) commercial-grade LED display that provides high-impact messaging in hotels, restaurants, and other businesses. The built-in media player supports USB playback of photos and music, as well as direct content cloning with hospitality mode—this provides an easy and efficient way for loading content onto multiple displays. This display features Full HD resolution, SuperClear® wide-angle viewing technology, 350-nit brightness, 5000:1 native contrast ratio, and dual integrated 10W speakers to deliver crystal-clear multimedia content to targeted audiences. Versatile connectivity options include HDMI (x3), VGA, Composite, YPbPr, RS232, and SPDIF interface for easy installation and control of a variety of high-definition devices. It also supports RS232 with IR pass-through and HDMI CEC pass-through, providing easy management and control of multiple-display installations with connected HD set-top boxes, media players, and Blu-ray™ players.

The ViewSonic’s CDE6500-L displays content in Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution to deliver superior pixel-by-pixel true-colour performance. At this resolution and brightness, high-definition multimedia messaging can be seen crystal-clear with a more realistic viewing experience.

Energy-Saving LED Backlight

The CDE6500-L utilizes an energy-saving LED backlight that consumes 35% less power than conventional CCFL backlight displays. This provides for a lower overall cost of ownership, along with a higher ROI, making this display a great long-term investment.

Hospitality mode for automated multi-screen control

The CDE6500-L is great for multi-screen setups in hotels, restaurants, sports bars, or retail outlets that require automated control and customizable presets. With a USB-programmable hospitality setting, each television will have the same customized channel default, audio level, front-panel lockout, and auto power-up settings.

HDMI CEC opens a world of HDMI possibilities

With HDMI CEC functionality, remote controller signals can be transmitted via HDMI cable to connected HDMI devices. This enables out-of-sight DVD players, sound systems, and other devices to be directly controlled with the display’s remote controller for a wider range of viewing possibilities.

IR pass-through for multi-device control

The CDE6500-L’s RS232 control port features IR pass-through to provide automated control for hospitality and commercial display installations. IR pass-through offers local control for set-top boxes or other connected devices, directly with the display’s remote controller.

Remote control-out function keeps digital devices out of sight

The RC control output function allows users to easily control DVD players, internet TV receivers, set-top boxes, and other devices – even when they are hidden out of sight. RC control output allows for the use of individual remote controls to transmit signals via IR transmitter to the attached and hidden digital devices.

The CDE6500-L is VESA-compliant (400x 400mm) and can be mounted in either portrait or landscape orientation for greater display flexibility in a variety of settings.

Handy USB multimedia playback & cloning features

With the handy PC-less USB playback feature, photos and music can be immediately played and shared by plugging a USB drive into the display. In addition, the CDE6500-L includes USB cloning for easy duplication in multi-screen environments.
